Blackhills Park is a hidden Gem in the Heart of the Gower Peninsula, sat upon Wales’s first area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – Ideally situated for beautiful beaches, outstanding walks, golf clubs and shopping. Our Gower parks are ten minutes from the Three Cliffs landmark overlooking the sea, the picturesque Gower Peninsula and Mumbles seaside resort. Caswell & Langland Bays are also a ten minute drive from the park. We are only fifteen minutes away from Swansea city centre.
Blackhills is unique in that each holiday home has ample green space around them and lovely views – to give a feeling of space and privacy.
Blackhills Caravan Park is a quiet family orientated park, situated within 30 acres bordered with Woodland – with neighbouring villages, beaches and golf clubs. All the caravans are privately owned and there is no commercial letting, so the park is very quiet and peaceful.
We have an onsite laundry facility and a play area for children. Our woodland forest has a dog walk and neighbouring lake.
There are no arcades, bars or clubs, although we are adjoined to Fairwood Golf Club, and further up the lane the superb Wildflower Cafe & Garden Centre.
The 19 mile-long Peninsula starts at Mumbles and extends westwards. It’s famous for its beautiful coastline and beaches (from vast Rhosilli Bay to tiny, secluded Pwll Du), and is a favourite destination for walkers and surfers. Inland you’ll find sheltered woodland and rolling grasslands; country pubs and fine food.
Mumbles marks the beginning of the Gower coastline. It’s a well-loved area of Swansea, and when you go there, it’s clear to see why! If you feel the urge for a bit of retail therapy, Mumbles will suit perfectly. There’s a range of high end shops, independent boutiques and quirky galleries, you can really spoil yourself when you visit Mumbles! Designer labels, handmade crafts or even surfing gear, you’ll find it all here.
Caswell Bay or Welsh Bae Cas-wellt (meaning straw fortress), is a beach on Gower. It is a sandy beach popular with families, holiday makers and surfers, and it regularly achieves Blue Flag status.
Swansea and Gower is a great place for foodies too. All appetites are catered for by a range of big name brands, independent eateries and boutique bistros. Planning a romantic meal or dinner with the family? You can even dine at the top of Wales's tallest building with incredible 360 degree views, which include the 5 mile sweep of Swansea Bay beach.
Electric, Rates, and Water/Sewerage are all on the same bill which is calculated in September.

Caswell Bay, Langland bay and Mumbles are a 5-7 minute drive away.
We are also on the gateway to Gower – so Oxwich, Three Cliffs and Pobbles Bay etc are all within reach.
Blackhills is open from 1st March – 15th November annually. ( we can close earlier is weather worsens)
We don’t enforce an age limit on caravans on our site, although we do advise to change after 10-15 years.
Yes – Blackhills is a dog friendly park. We are situated in over 30 acres and have dedicated dogs walks.
